A high-tempo harmony of passionfruit, lime & coconut … El Condado de la Salsa just hit the floor.
Grab our newest Up and Comer release in bio & Backyard and read on for the story behind our collab with @thesalsaprojectnyc.
From liquid the label, ‘El Condado’ traces salsa’s path to the The Bronx — and the magic that happened when the right elements flowed into a boro that took them, fused them and created something entirely its own. Something that changed the world.
Inside the can, ingredients of African, Cuban & Puerto Rican descent pay homage to the sonic & cultural traditions that built salsa’s framework.
Outside, @thesalsaprojectnyc’s design depicts a salsa scene, with nods to the past, present and future of the art form.
Together with @thesalsaprojectnyc, it’s a tribute to one of the great gifts The Bronx gave the world. A tropical vibe that catches the rhythm of Uptown summer.
And it’s a testament to the power of different people, different cultures and different backgrounds coming together to create something new. Something bigger.
