The jungle we brew in is made of Concrete which means you don’t often find specialty figs from Southeast Asia at your local fruit stand. So, when our friends at Baldor Specialty Foods told us they got their hands on a variety that is Tiger-Striped and perfectly ripe in late Summer, we made sure they dropped some off at the brewery before they got calls from every chef in the city. Working with their red-jam-like taste, these figs are a perfect complement for a juicy Northeast Style IPA. A healthy dose of Rye Malt creates a spicy character that balances out this complex and satisfying limited-release brew. Enjoy!
