Hosted in Partnership with our community partner, New York Restoration Project, Twigs and Swigs is a volunteer program with a social twist.
This Earth Day is kicking off in the Bronx. Join New York Restoration Project, The Department of Parks and Recreation, Bronx Brewery, and the New York City FC for a clean up day at Jerome Slope and perform tasks such as invasive species removal, weeding, litter removal, and mulching of street trees. All tools including work gloves will be provided. Please wear clothes you can work outdoors in and closed-toed shoes are required.
After spending the early-afternoon working at Jerome Slope, we’ll head to Bronx Drafthouse as a group for some celebratory beers.
