Hitting the Taproom & select NYC stores this week, ft. label design by the great @thebronxer We’d heard about wood’s gift for giving spice to beer, so we tried it out for our holiday ale (instead of traditional spices in the kettle). And it blew our minds. You’ll be greeted by soft bitterness and a cozy blend of vanilla, cinnamon, oak and chocolate on the nose. On the back, you’ll get a grassy and mildly spicy / citrusy palate, washed over by MORE vanilla and oak, making this a perfect sweater-weather beer … for whenever the temps in actually drop.
