Not brewed at a Bodega, but definitely Bodega Vibes!
Y-Series collab with Ivan Jines(@zanestyles)
“Bodega Brew is 8% ABV and 23 IBU Imperial Pilsner”
Bodega Brew is an Imperial Pilsner with a more pronounced malty backbone. Slightly sweet with slight notes of honey. Magnum and El Dorado hops lend subtle spicy and pineapple aromas with tropical fruit flavors. Huell Melon is added for distinct summer melon vibes with slight whispers of orange, vanilla, geranium, and fruit tea.
Ivan Jines is a Puerto-Rican and Ecuadorian Bronx-Based artist who’s poised to become the next generation Kaws. Using mostly acrylic and spray paint Ivan’s approach is mostly premeditated and curated but going with the flow ultimately leads to an incredible finished piece all parties can enjoy!
“I want to better my craft and be the next generation Kaws but also to impact others. Impact others that anyone can do it if you put your mind to it. Letting everyone know that if you’re consistent and go through the process; you’ll reach your destination.”

Bodega Brew’s can design and name take inspiration from a local spot neighborhood bodega that Zane grew up around. After a previously conceived mural at BXB and a solo art show, it became clear the color yellow, as well as his hand style alone, would drape the background of the can, and the accompanying bodega design would serve as center-piece for this limited edition pilsner.
When asked “If there’s anything else you’d like to let people know?” Ivan says:
“I’m excited for the collaboration, especially to a group of people that treated me like family. As both parties represent The Bronx I’m pretty proud of that.”
The Community collaborator for Bodega Brews release is Atelier 111; a creative studio of artists growing in the community! Through this organization, a portion of proceeds from this release will fund a workshop designed to educate and support kids in the Bronx.
